Privacy policy
v2.0.0
Last Updated: June 4, 2026
Snapget LLC ("Snapget," "we," "us," or "our") provides a customer relationship management ("CRM") platform and related websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information, and the rights and choices available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Services and in the course of our business. It does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that we do not own or control. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Our Two Roles: Business Information vs. Customer Data
Snapget handles personal information in two distinct capacities, and it is important to understand the difference.
As a business (data we control). When you visit our website, create an account, communicate with us, or use the Services as a Snapget customer, we act as a "business" under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"), and as a controller of that information. This Privacy Policy governs that information.
As a service provider (Customer Data). When you use Snapget to manage your own contacts, leads, accounts, deals, and other records, you may upload or input personal information about your own customers, prospects, and contacts ("Customer Data"). With respect to Customer Data, Snapget acts as a "service provider" under the CCPA and a processor that handles the information on your behalf and under your instructions. The Snapget customer that controls a workspace is the "business" or controller responsible for that Customer Data.
We process Customer Data only to provide and support the Services, in accordance with our agreement with the relevant Snapget customer, and we do not sell or share Customer Data or use it for our own independent purposes. If you are an individual whose information appears in a Snapget customer's account and you wish to exercise privacy rights, please contact that customer (the business) directly; we will assist our customers in responding to such requests as required by law. Customers seeking a data processing addendum ("DPA") may request one at support@snapget.com.
The remainder of this Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information in our capacity as a business, unless otherwise stated.
2. Personal Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you interact with us:
Identifiers and contact information such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, account username, company name, and similar identifiers.
Account and profile information such as your login credentials, role, profile photo, time zone, and preferences.
Commercial and billing information such as your subscription plan, transaction history, and billing contact details. Payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers.
Customer Data you provide such as contacts, leads, notes, tasks, emails, meetings, files, and other records you choose to store in the Services. As described above, we handle Customer Data as a service provider.
Communications such as the contents of your messages to us, support requests, survey responses, and feedback.
Usage and device information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, pages viewed, features used, referring URLs, and timestamps, which we collect automatically when you use the Services.
Cookies and similar technologies as described in the "Cookies and Tracking Technologies" section below.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, or health information) about our own users for purposes that require additional disclosures, and we ask that you not store such information in unintended fields. To the extent you choose to store sensitive information as Customer Data, you are responsible for doing so lawfully.
3. Sources of Personal Information
We collect personal information from the following sources: directly from you when you provide it; automatically through your use of the Services; from your organization or account administrator; from third-party services you connect to Snapget (such as email, calendar, or other integrations you authorize); and from service providers and analytics or advertising partners.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services; to create and manage your account and authenticate users; to process transactions and send related information such as confirmations and invoices; to provide customer support and respond to inquiries; to communicate with you about the Services, including service announcements, security alerts, and administrative messages; to send marketing and promotional communications, subject to your choices; to personalize and improve your experience; to monitor and analyze usage, trends, and performance; to detect, prevent, and address fraud, security incidents, abuse, and technical issues; to enforce our terms and policies; and to comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and the rights of others.
We may de-identify or aggregate personal information so that it no longer reasonably identifies you, and we may use and disclose such information for any lawful purpose.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information as follows:
Service providers. We share information with vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, data storage, payment processing, analytics, email delivery, and customer support. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
Within your organization. If you use Snapget through an organization or workspace, your account administrators and other authorized users in that workspace may access information associated with your account.
Integrations you authorize. If you connect third-party services to Snapget, we may share information with those services as needed to enable the integration you requested.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our agreements and policies; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Snapget, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a successor policy.
With your consent. We may disclose information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.
6. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
Snapget does not sell personal information for money. Under the CCPA, "sale" and "sharing" are defined broadly and can include certain disclosures to advertising or analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. To the extent any of our use of cookies or similar technologies on our marketing website is considered a "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA, we provide the right to opt out as described in the "Your Privacy Rights" section. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. We do not sell or share Customer Data.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to operate and secure the Services, remember your preferences, analyze usage, and support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through our cookie preferences tool. Some features of the Services may not function properly if you disable certain cookies.
We honor Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signals where required. If your browser transmits a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for that browser or device.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have some or all of the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:
Right to know and access. You may request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
Right to delete. You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you.
Right to correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to opt out of sale or sharing. You may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information as those terms are defined under applicable law.
Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. Where applicable, you may direct us to limit the use of your sensitive personal information to certain permitted purposes.
Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
These rights are provided under the CCPA and comparable laws in states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others. Specific rights and exceptions vary by state.
9. How to Exercise Your Rights
You may submit a privacy request by emailing us at support@snapget.com. We will verify your request by confirming information associated with you or your account before fulfilling it.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly with us.
Appeals. If we decline to take action on your request and you are in a state that provides an appeal right, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response or contacting us at support@snapget.com. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law. There is no charge to submit most requests.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer Data is retained according to your account settings and our agreement with the relevant Snapget customer, and is deleted or returned upon termination as provided in that agreement. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.
11. Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
12. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@snapget.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
